Chamber Academy Events

The SCMF gave my quartet something truly special, not just a performance platform, which is already scarce in Singapore, but access to exceptional music professionals who provided the coaching tailored to our group’s standard. Their curated feedback greatly benefitted my group’s sound quality and musicianship and we have grown a lot not just as chamber but individual musicians as well. We strongly encourage groups to participate in this hard-to-come-by chamber opportunity.

- Zien Xu, The Practice Room Quartet
Participant of the Chamber Music Academy 2024

We had the great honor and privilege of participating in the 2024 Singapore Chamber Music Festival as a young and freshly formed string quartet. Not only did we receive formative coachings and excellent performance opportunities, but we also met many new friends from all around South East Asia. SCMF was a truly transformative period for us, motivating us to pursue a higher level of chamber music playing and propelling us towards future quartet opportunities. We are extremely grateful for the SCMF and its role in our quartet’s history, and we’re looking forward to April 2026!
