A seasoned chamber recitalist, Jeremy Chiew actively performs with various local ensembles and projects, and his own annual ‘Potpourri’ viola recitals aimed at increasing appreciation of this lesser-known member of the string family have seen collaborations with Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) and T’ang Quartet musicians, as well as the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO).

As a music educator, Jeremy is Principal Conductor of Ngee Ann Polytechnic Strings and serves as a lecturer in professional development at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. He also conducts string sectionals with Nanyang Poly, SCGS, St. Margaret’s Secondary, and outside of his academic appointments and some private teaching, Jeremy volunteers as a music mentor for children with special needs through the Beautiful Minds Charity.

Recent years saw Jeremy take on organisational leadership and creative programming roles within performing arts and non-profit organisations. and currently serves as General Manager of Dance Nucleus and T'ang Quartet. He has also produced for international acts such as 'Il Divo' and 'Disney Live in Concert'.

Jeremy Chiew holds a Masters of Music Performance (Viola) from the Longy School of Music and was a recipient of the Patricia Sherman Award 'in honour of a high level of accomplishment, an exemplary attitude and a record of contribution to the life of the Longy Community.’ He is grateful to have studied with Dimitri Murrath, Yura Lee, Wee-Hsin Tan amongst many other eminent pedagoges.
