We are delighted to announce Festival Concert III: Aoi Trio β€” Classic Trios Through the Ages of the Singapore Chamber Music Festival 2026, featuring Japan’s acclaimed Aoi Trio this April.

Following their memorable 2024 festival performance of AntonΓn DvoΕ™Γ‘k’s Piano Trio No. 3, Op. 65, the trio returns with a deeply expressive programme centred on DvoΕ™Γ‘k’s much-loved Piano Trio No. 4 β€œDumky,” where lyricism, folk spirit, and emotional contrasts come vividly to life.

You will hear music ranging from the mysterious intensity of Ludwig van Beethoven’s β€œGhost” Trio to the final, deeply personal works of Lili Boulanger, composed shortly before her untimely death at the age of 24.

Programme

β€’ Beethoven, Piano Trio No. 5 in D major, Op. 70 No. 1 β€œGhost”
β€’ Boulanger, D’un soir triste
β€’ Boulanger, D’un matin de printemps
β€’ DvoΕ™Γ‘k, Piano Trio No. 4 in E minor, Op. 90 β€œDumky”

Enjoy an intimate afternoon of piano trios across the ages.
