YST’s newest full-time faculty member, Eric Lamb, takes centre stage in an eclectic programme of flute chamber music spanning 150 years — from Classical elegance to 20th-century colour — featuring a rich tapestry of instrumental combinations.

Louise Farrenc — Trio for Flute, Cello and Piano
Jacques Ibert — Deux Interludes for Flute, Oboe and Piano
Max Meyer-Olbersleben — Fantaisie-Sonate, Op. 17
Joined by distinguished collaborators including Yang Shuxiang (violin), Han Oh (viola), Leslie Tan (cello), Lim Yan (piano), Simon Lee (oboe) and Jonathan Shin (piano), this concert places the flute in the spotlight — lyrical, virtuosic and full of character.
